Meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Avir Nursing Home on River Road. They play games, sing, and provide snacks for the residents.

Baby Bottle Boomerang and Respect Life Sunday Laura Balderrama-Contreras
The Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center in Boerne cares for women with unplanned pregnancies, promotes the sanctity of life, and empowers parents and young people to make Christ-centered choices regarding family life, pregnancy, and sexuality. The Center is non-profit and is dependent on volunteers and donations to accomplish its mission. Baby bottles are distributed during the weeks after Mother’s Day and are returned a month later with monetary donations which help provide services, materials assistance and support.

Benedictine Sisters of Boerne Sr. Kathleen Higgins
Respond to the needs of the poor and disenfranchised living in communities near the Texas/Mexican border. Act as advocates for those less fortunate by providing food, shelter, clothing, financial assistance for education, medical attention and supplies. Also advocate for those seeking asylum in the United States.
Benedictine Sisters Annual Spaghetti Dinner –
Help organize and decorate and serve both food and drinks at the annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser for the Benedictine Sisters.
Blessing in A Backpack –Nancy Roberts
Organizes and publicizes for the weekend of collections for BIBP.
Bunco Party Kathy Hassenger and Debbie Garcia Jenkins
The Committee hosts the annual bunco party for all the ladies of the parish. While the party is for recruitment of new members, it also provides fun and fellowship for CDA members to join in and get to know each other.
Catechists Lunch –
During the training of the Catechists for Good Shepherd, bring lunch one day to feed the Catechists.
Christmas Parade –
Participate and decorate the train for the annual Christmas Parade. Walk the parade and hand out candy canes. Also serve pizza and hot chocolate to the participants after the parade.

Our annual Christmas fundraiser that offers our parishioners and guests an opportunity to purchase poinsettias during the holiday season. These beautiful plants can be purchased as thoughtful gifts for loved ones or used to compliment the warmth of your own home’s decor. We also accept donations for the purchase of the poinsettias to decorate our church during this Holy Advent season.
Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center Gala –
Each year in September, help decorate for the Gala and help turn over the Cana Ballroom after lunch for the dinner session.

Organizes food and set up for the meetings.
Memorial Cards Ginger Vlieger
Provides memorial cards for sale in the office and at the meetings. Prepares a monthly report and distributes it to CDA officers.

Reaches out to new members welcoming them to CDA and ensuring they are receiving emails from Regent. Point of contact for any questions they have about CDA as new member.
Tour de Boerne –
Help put together rider bags, make sandwiches and oranges, and participate the day of the ride.
Vet Furniture Project Barbara Walz
Collects furniture, linens, towels, lamps etc. for delivery to veterans who have qualified for an unfurnished apartment.

Widow/Widower Luncheon –
Twice a year, help serve lunch and make desserts for the Widow/Widower luncheon.
Women’s Shelter Alma Hilburn
Collect small personal care products at monthly meetings for the use of women at the Shelter. Deliver these donations and other items for their thrift shop, Fabulous Finds.
